SCOPE

The OURthreads Privacy Policy describes the information gathering and dissemination practices of the OURthreads.com website and affiliated websites (collectively, the "OURthreads Site"). Certain services offered by OURthreads require that Personal Information (defined below) be submitted by those who wish to take advantage of those services. INFORMATION and ITS USE

Records of transactions (such as trades, purchases, and sales) conducted on the OURthreads Site

Community chats, message boards, trust rating feedback, emails sent to you and your transaction partners by the OURthreads system, and correspondence sent by you to OURthreads
Statistics, page views, traffic data, search requests

You should be aware that your closet is open to and accessible by the public and others users of the OURthreads Site. Any data, information, pictures, messages, etc. that you post in your closet, in other users’ closets, in Easy Ads or Sponsored Closet Ads, message boards, forums or anywhere else on the OURthreads Site is considered a public disclosure.

This privacy statement only applies to the OURthreads Site and not the website of any other company or organization linked to the OURthreads Site. Accessing those third party websites or sources requires you to leave the OURthreads Site. OURthreads does not control those third party websites or any of the content contained therein and are in no way responsible or liable for any of those third party websites, including, without limitation, their content, policies, failures, promotions, products, services on or actions of those websites and/or any damages, losses, failures or problems caused by, related to or arising from those websites. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

By using the OURthreads Site you agree to receive email messages generated by your use of the various functions of the OURthreads Site. These emails may include a welcome letter, system updates, buy trade and sell related messages, advertising purchase, renewal, and expiration messages.

OURthreads will never ask you for your bank account or credit card information through an email message. You should never respond or reply to an email message that asks you for this information. All bank account and credit card information should be entered only on the OURthreads Site after you have logged into your OURthreads account.

OURthreads will not send you unsolicited marketing emails unless you have expressly elected to receive them.

You may receive the email addresses of other users of the OURthreads Site. You are not permitted to use or store other users' email addresses for any purpose other than to complete a transaction originating from the OURthreads Site.

YOUR USER ID, CLOSET NAME and PASSWORD

You should protect your username and password, as you are responsible for all transactions and posts conducted under your username. Once you have created your username and closet name, they cannot be changed.

COOKIES

Please be aware that cookies are used on the OURthreads Site to enable features of the OURthreads Site, identify you as a registered user, keep you logged in to the OURthreads Site, track your preferences, create your shopping cart, monitor and track traffic on the OURthreads Site, and conduct research. If you disable cookies on your computer, many of the functions of the OURthreads Site will not be available to you.

SPAM

OURthreads has a zero tolerance policy for unsolicited commercial email or "spam." You are expressly forbidden from utilizing any information posted to the OURthreads Site to send or distribute unsolicited commercial email messages. If you are believed to be sending such messages to OURthreads Site users, you will be referred to the appropriate authorities.
